The Australian Home Office requires Spanish nationals to obtain an Australian visa before traveling to the country.
In order to apply for an Australian eVisitor visa, Spanish citizens will need to adhere to the following passport requirements before beginning the application process, including:
- A valid passport issued by the Kingdom of Spain
- The validity of the passport must extend at least 6 months from the date of application
- At least 2 blank pages for entry/exit stamps
Travelers from Spain whose passports are set to expire in 6 months or less should consider renewing their passport before beginning the application process.
Spanish passport holders who are dual citizens, should note that the Australian eVisitor visa is electronically connected to the passport they use to apply for the visa and that only that passport can be used to enter Australia.
Spanish travelers interested in visiting Australia with their family members will need to submit a separate Australian eVisitor visa for each member of the family including each child listed on their passport.
