The Schengen Area is set to launch the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) to improve security. The ETIAS application for Argentine citizens will be done completely online, making it quick and simple to authorize your trip to Europe.

The ETIAS for Argentines is designed to make it easy to visit around 30 European countries visa-free. Spain, France, and Italy are among the countries that will use the ETIAS platform.

Countries that Argentine Citizens can visit with ETIAS

The ETIAS visa waiver for Argentines will allow entry to around 30 different European countries.

The system was designed to grant access to the Schengen Area, which consists of 26 nations. 22 of these countries are also part of the European Union (EU), while the other 4 form the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

There are 4 other EU countries that plan to join Schengen (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, and Romania). All of these countries have announced they will also join the ETIAS program. This means that Argentines will need an ETIAS for every EU member country apart from the Republic of Ireland.

Argentines will also need the ETIAS to reach 4 EU microstates (Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City), since these tiny countries have no airports and can only be entered by land from Schengen countries which require ETIAS.
