UK EVW Requirements for Emirati Citizens

United Arab Emirates citizens planning to apply for a United Kingdom EVW are advised to read the visa requirements for Emirati citizens. These are the rules and regulations regarding travel for Emirati citizens.

You should also pay close attention to what is required as part of your EVW application. This will help avoid mistakes, as any errors cannot be edited once the form is submitted and, on some occasions, they may potentially hold up processing.

Emirati citizens will require the following information to fill in the form:

• A valid and up-to-date UAE passport that is current for a minimum of 6 months
• A debit or credit card that can be used to pay the EVW processing fee
• An accessible email address where the UK EVW can be sent, along with other important updates.

You will also be asked to provide additional information from your Emirati passport, including the passport number, date of issue, and date of expiry.

There will be additional questions regarding details about your trip to the United Kingdom, including flight information, dates and times of arrival and departure, and the address of the accommodation you will be staying in.

Your United Kingdom EVW is usually processed within 24 hours of receipt. It is advised that you leave a minimum of 48 hours for approval before traveling to provide plenty of time for your application to be processed in case of delays that can occur during busy periods.

Once approved, the UK electronic visa waiver will be linked electronically to your UAE passport. In addition, a copy will be sent to your email.

You can print out a copy of the EVW to bring with you on your trip, or show it in digital format on a mobile device, as border officials will require it for inspection on arrival in the United Kingdom.

If you have dual nationality you should check you have the correct passport with you, as you can only gain entry to the United Kingdom using the Emirati passport you used in the application process.

The United Kingdom EVW permits Emirati citizens entry to the country via land, sea, and air.

If your British visa waiver application is rejected, you are able to reapply for a UK EVW. Nationals of the United Arab Emirates must ensure they type in their information carefully and check it before submitting, as errors can result in rejection of the application.

If your UAE passport is lost, damaged, or stolen,  before you travel to the UK you should reapply for a UK EVW using your new passport details. This is due to the fact that the EVW is electronically linked to your passport.
